Living in Paris for 3 and 1/2 years gave me many opportunities to see lots of beautiful examples of how Chanel is very present in the city of lights.  I often visited the Chanel boutique at 31 rue Cambon to soak up the inspiration. Once I figured out that most Chanel runway shows took place at the Grand Palais, I showed up as often as possible. Trying to get “spot on photos” was difficult, but it was all a lot of fun and I got more and more brave and got a better camera!  I regularly saw famous fashion “it” people and thankfully met Devon Kaylor, an amazing fashion blogger/photographer and model who lives in between NY and Berlin. We first met at a show at Palais de Tokyo and kept bumping into each other at other shows. She took a photo of me in a grey print wool cape I designed and we stayed in touch. She later sent a photo of me that she had found in American Vogue, outside the Chanel show, (see below) even though, sadly, I was never able to find it in hard copy myself! Crazy world….
